Maino ft. August - Survival of the Fittest (Prod. by Boi-1da)

Maino had the same beat Eminem used for the lead-off single on his upcoming Recovery before Em did.  He was planning to release this as his first single off his sophomore album.  I enjoy both songs, but could do without neither choruses.  Maino’s words hold more weight considering his story but the eventual blend of both MCs verses will be great.  Maybe by then there will be a chorus worthy of this beat.

This song also signals how the music business works.  Just because Maino put together an entire song for his next project doesn’t mean a bigger name can’t come and take it from you.

Wiz Khalifa - We’re Done

Don’t let the guy who sampled Alice Deejay for his last single deter you from jamming some Kush & Orange Juice tomorrow morning.
